Last weeks dozens of you purchased my little pretties (flowers) as an add on to your twilight  kits or just to play with. Several of you (you know who you are wink, wink) asked for flourishes as well. So ask and you shall receive! Here are a few samples of how I used the flourishes.  MOst of the flourishes are already cut...so if you order over the next few days...they will most likely ship same day

I am not to sure how I would survive with out my AccuCut machine and dies...I think I have taught close to 4000 students this year...with several hundred more to go. Thats a ton of kits to cut! So I want to give a shout out to AccuCut for the never ending support and amazing products! Check out their blog for even more AccuCut INspiration

A few from todays class (Urban Art Take 2)

I am sorta bummed, I didnt check my setting when I was taking my photos today so more than half didnt turn out! BUMMER. 

This was a bit different than my normal classes, and I think I will be teaching many more of them. We did a lot of playing  with products outside the traditional scrapbooking realm. Gel Medium, interference paints, perfect pearls, distress inks, vintage papers, masking,spray paint...lots of layers and collage, and of course my tried and true favorite CARDBOARD!!!!

love how all the students have access to the same products but they each put their own "spin" on their projects. Love the photo on this piece!

All of these flowers are glimmer misted and or perfect pearlized. For those of you that ordered my little pretties,this a another great example of what you can do with them

 

Party drink recipes anyone?

Barbie Doll-icious!
1.5 oz Knob Creek
1 oz Cranberry
.75 oz Pineapple Juice
.75 oz fresh OJ
.75 oz fresh Lemon Juice
Ginger Ale

Combine all the ingredients except ginger ale in a shaker.
Shake well and pour.
Top with a splash of ginger ale.

Pomegranate Martinis

• 1 1/2 c. of pomegranate juice
• 2 oz. of absolute citrus-infused vodka
• 1 ounce Cointreau liqueur
• lemons, a squeeze (optional)
• sparkling water, splash (optional)
• 1 c. of ice

It is coming...Birthdays, holidays...the season to celebrate is almost here. Starting this weekend (it's my sweeties birthday) every couple of weeks is a birthday, a holiday, a celebration of some sort. I need some new party drink recipes....drinks of all types, alcohol based and not. What are some of your go- to favs?

Bill Bartlett was right...If i didn't find my love of art at the age of 6. I am quite positive I would not be here today. As a teen my art was my drug of choice, as an adult....it still is!

I just found out there are a few more spaces at Ever After Scrapbook Store's  Survivor Crop. For the past few years (this year included ) I have been unable to participate do to scheduling conflicts...But am donating for the silent auction (I will post a picture of that when I finish  it up)

A Love Struck Class--- in Huntington Beach

I must admit I do have favorites....my  Love Struck tattoo product is one of my favorite collections i have designed to date. I still try and find ways to use it and incorporate it into new classes. Here's a few photos from Saturday
